Developed by FSI Systems Inc., a Design Alliance Partner, this
reference design kit includes five different Freescale devices working together
to demonstrate a custom wireless application. Featuring the ColdFire MCF5282,
this demo uses ColdFire as a gateway that connects to a Zigbee Ready network
(using SMAC), communicating through Ethernet with a PC. The kit can be used for
a vast array of functions relating to Industrial Control, Residential Monitoring
& Control, Medical Monitoring and Consumer Electronics. Specific activities
include logistics managment, energy consumption, security, and hand held medical
needs.
This kit is designed to be a functional demonstration of how Freescale ZigBee(TM) wireless
system can provide an effective and economical solution for your wireless needs.
This kit provides an easy way to remotely monitor/control user devices.
